Job description

Title: Used Car Sales Manager
Location: Metro Toyota, Kalamazoo

What you’ll do (day-to-day):
  • Lead used-vehicle retail performance: units, gross, and execution.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and lead a team through consistent cadence: daily accountability and weekly training.
  • Control used inventory lifecycle: appraisals/acquisition, recon discipline, merchandising/pricing, turn strategy, and clean exit on aged units.
  • Manage deal desking, closing, and delivery execution and process.
  • Ensure excellence: CRM follow-up, customer experience, and professional handling of concerns.
  • Partner with F amp;I and Service to ensure a smooth delivery and strong retention habits; reinforce F amp;I and Service turnover.

  • Your team consistently achieves strong sales volume and profitability targets through integrity selling while protecting CSI and dealership reputation.
  • Inventory is healthy: priced right, recon controlled, aging managed.
  • Customers feel respected, confident, and enjoy their experience with us.
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven track record of automotive sales leadership (used preferred) with measurable results.
  • Strong “player-coach” skills: you love to train, lead by example, hold yourself and those around you accountable, enjoy closing deals, and regularly go above and beyond for your team.
  • High character: integrity, accountability, calm under pressure.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license; state sales license if applicable.
  • Ability to work weekends/evenings as needed.
  • Minimum of three years of automotive industry experience
