Summary

A Millroom Operator is an entry-level position. Personnel hired into this position are trained on one or more of the following operations: weigh-up, mill, doughmix, reclaim, material handling, paint mill, and 11D mixer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow work instructions to safely and efficiently complete production
  • Report daily production and label materials accurately
  • Set up necessary equipment based on established standards
  • Verify products meet quality standards
  • Use a digital scale to weigh ingredients
  • Understand process sheets, work instructions, and proper material handling
  • Report to work as scheduled and on time
  • Other duties as assigned, including physical inventory

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Must be safety conscience
  • Must be able to keep detailed records
  • Must have good hand and eye coordination, good eyesight, corrective lens acceptable
  • Must be able to read/write English and make simple math calculations
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to maintain a clean work environment
  • Must be able to work in a dusty, hot/cold environment
  • Must be able to work as a team member
  • Must posses a willingness to cross train on multiple processes

Payrate / Hours

  • Starting Payrate - $15.00/hr
  • + $0.50 increase with completion of training & 90-days
  • 1st shift 7am-3:30pm
  • 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am w/ +$2.00 shift differential
