The Dry Plant Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and supporting dry plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. This position works with equipment such as dryers, crushers, screens, conveyors, elevators, pumps, and baghouses while monitoring plant conditions and making operational adjustments as needed.

The Dry Plant Operator also assists with equipment inspections, basic troubleshooting and maintenance, housekeeping, and other activities necessary to meet production, safety, and quality goals. A good understanding of plant operations and a strong commitment to safe work practices are essential for success in this role.

  • Operate and monitor crushers, dryers, and associated equipment to support safe and efficient plant production.
  • Monitor equipment performance and make operational adjustments as needed.
  • Identify equipment issues and perform minor repairs or troubleshooting within the scope of the position.
  • Shut down equipment safely and in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas by removing debris, spilled material, and other potential hazards.
  • Assist with routine maintenance and preventive maintenance activities as directed by management.
  • Follow all company safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures.
  • Communicate equipment or operational concerns to appropriate team members and management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
