An award-winning, chef-driven hospitality group is seeking an ambitious, creative, and highly organized Training & Development Chef to join its culinary leadership team. Working closely with senior culinary leadership and restaurant management teams, this role will play an integral part in developing culinary talent, refining operational systems, supporting new initiatives, and ensuring consistency across multiple acclaimed restaurant concepts.


Key Responsibilities

Culinary Development

  • Partner with culinary leadership on menu development, recipe testing, and the rollout of new culinary initiatives.
  • Assist with recipe standardization, costing, and implementation of seasonal menu changes.
  • Support ongoing innovation while maintaining the highest culinary standards.

Training & Team Development

  • Develop and mentor culinary teams through hands-on coaching, training programs, and leadership development.
  • Help build a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Create and implement systems that improve consistency and execution across multiple locations.

Events & Special Projects

  • Lead culinary planning and execution for private events, collaborative dinners, special activations, and company-wide initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Provide hands-on support across restaurant locations to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, Corporate Chef, or similar culinary leadership role within a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant.
  • Strong culinary foundation with a passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing others.
  • Experience with menu development, recipe writing, food costing, and operational implementation.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and special events.
  • Willingness to travel between restaurant locations as needed.
