Responsibilities

Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic Receptionist to greet patients, visitors, and staff at our front desk!  If you have a desire to work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of the patients we serve, we want to hear from you!   The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, checking in patients for assessment, answering the switchboard and routing calls appropriately, maintaining the facility census book, accepting and directing incoming deliveries, processing incoming and outgoing mail, providing clerical support as requested, and keeping A&R forms stocked. Receptionist is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the lobby and triage rooms. The receptionist is also responsible for providing data processing services for the facility which includes entering patient’s admissions, entering A&R calls, entering discharges and physician/bed/unit transfers. In addition, the receptionist assists with various clerical duties and projects as assigned.

Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, plus other days/hours as needed.

Qualifications

Education:  High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience:  Two (2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment preferred.
