Job Description **Job Title: SEN School Admin Assistant & Receptionist. **Location: The London Borough of Bromley **Job Type: Contract **Where: SEND School **Hourly Rate: 13 - 15 Outstanding SEND School is currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEN School Admin Assistant & Receptionist. This temp to perm position is to commence in September 2024.

The ideal SEN School Admin Assistant & Receptionist will have a background in school administration and reception duties, combined with excellent IT skills to support the school's operations efficiently. You live in easy commutable distance to The London Borough of Bromley You either have an Enhanced DBS OR able to pay for a new one immediately. Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and students at the reception desk, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail. Maintain student records, attendance registers, and other school databases with accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in the preparation and distribution of school communications, newsletters, and notices.

Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events, including arranging necessary facilities and materials. Support the SEN team with administrative tasks, including the preparation of reports and documentation related to student support plans and assessments. Handle the ordering and inventory of office supplies and educational materials.

Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures, particularly those related to safeguarding and data protection. Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents. Assist with the administration of school admissions, transfers, and leavers processes.

Proven experience in school administration and reception duties, preferably within an SEN environment. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and school management software. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
