There is an old saying about only having one shot to make a great first impression....well, as a receptionist you understand how important that role is in making a great first impression on callers and visitors alike!
ITAC is a Birmingham-based staffing firm representing companies throughout the southeast in their search for professional, welcoming, poised receptionists. These opportunities range from shorter-term temporary roles to contract-to-hire and direct hire positions.
Generally, individuals who would be considered for any of these positions would require the following backgrounds and skills.
What you need to be considered (requirements):
- A professional and approachable demeanor,
- A high degree of empathy and an obvious desire to create a great experience for callers and guests,
- Prior experience using a multi-line phone, placing calls on hold, adding calls into a conference and transferring callers, and
- Excellent verbal communication skills
