At Dental Associates of Danbury, an office within Dental Associates of Connecticut, our mission is to provide quality dental and personal care to all our patients in a relaxed and comfortable environment in which patients feel welcomed, accepted, secure, and confident in the care that they are receiving. We believe that satisfying all of our patients' needs is our most important goal. We employ dentists in the specialties of general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery and prosthodontics. Our network of high-standard professionals provides exceptional care to our patients throughout Connecticut!


Currently, we are looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our family. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic and be a team player. Recent graduates are welcomed!


Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, application of fluoride and sealants
  • Detect disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession
  • Selection of materials and equipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient's oral health
  • Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions
  • Document dental hygiene services by recording vital signs, medical and dental histories, and charting in patient charts
  • Sterilization of equipment
  • Take x-rays as necessary and as recommended by the ADA
