Job description

Seeking a recent graduate with 1 to 2 years of hands-on lab experience in welding, preferably in joining, along with testing scanning an optical microscope

Requirements

Laser welding experience.
Welding of Internal Weld Coupons for Tab Welding
Restrictive spot weld experience
Experience in Cross-section of samples after welding
Material Characterization of Welds
Resistance testing
Resistivity measurement
Tensile strength measurement
Ability to coordinate projects and test data with other internal departments and outside suppliers.
Experience with Testing, Scanning and Optical Microscopes is a plus
Data base experience is a plus.
SEM experience is a plus. SEM is used to examine weld quality, fractures, microstructure, inclusions, porosity, and other features at high resolution.

Education Requirement:

Bachelors Degree required. Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing systems engineering or Material science will be plus.
