Job description

The Marketing Data & Analytics Consultant specializes in data management, reporting, analytics, and marketing technology solutions. This role works with client data from CRM, marketing automation, and business systems to create accurate reports, dashboards, and insights that help organizations make better business decisions. The consultant plays a key role in delivering data-driven solutions that meet or exceed client expectations. As a customer-facing role, this individual must consistently portray a positive and competent image while delivering exceptional service and value to clients.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct client needs analysis to gather business requirements related to reporting, analytics, dashboards, and data management.
  • Import, export, cleanse, transform, validate, and maintain client data across CRM and marketing technology platforms.
  • Analyze marketing, sales, lead generation, customer engagement, survey, and attribution data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, charts, and visualizations that provide actionable business insights.
  • Translate client business requirements into accurate and effective reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Assist with data migrations, system transitions, data mapping, and quality assurance activities.
  • Support CRM and marketing technology projects through reporting, analytics, and data management activities.
  • Provide client training and support to promote successful adoption of reporting tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Support sales requests for pre-sale assistance including reporting demonstrations, technical reviews, and solution recommendations.
  • Properly account for all services provided and accurately capture billable and non-billable hours.
  • Research and stay current with CRM, marketing technology, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence tools and best practices.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Support marketing requests for technical and analytical information needed to create accurate collateral and customer success stories.
  • Provide input for company blogs and technical updates during staff meetings.
  • Contribute to internal documentation, process improvements, and best practices.
  • Take on special projects as requested by members of the leadership team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field preferred.
  • Recent graduates with relevant internships, coursework, certifications, or project experience are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business analytics, marketing analytics, reporting, CRM administration, marketing operations, or related fields preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, conditional formulas, data transformation, and large dataset analysis.
  • Ability to manipulate, validate, and analyze large datasets from CRM, sales, and marketing systems.
  • Ability to create reports, dashboards, visualizations, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Preferred experience with HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Customer Insights, Zoho, ClickDimensions, Constant Contact, Power BI, and similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
