The eCommerce Planning Analyst analyzes data and trends and provides insights and recommendations to support the Sr eCommerce Planning Manager in organizational and planning decision making. This role involves analyzing market trends, understanding customer preferences, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure the availability of products that meet consumer demand.
Primary Duties:
  • Develops models to collect and organize data and forecast scenarios to support decision making and planning.
  • Run, validate, analyze and publish various weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports and present analysis, findings, and recommendations to Director eCommerce Planning and broader eCommerce and Marketing Team.
  • Analyze weekly performance of Demand, Margin, Discount, and Inventory Sell-thru and Weeks-of-supply against Plan, Forecast, and prior year; provides summary of findings.
  • Analyze seasonal performance of Color and Size against Plan, Forecast, and prior year; provides summary of findings.
  • Assists the Director eCommerce Planning in developing promotional plans based on market data collected on Pricing and Promotions and inventory position.
  • Identify inventory that has reached end-of-life, remove from the site and move to hash for sell-off.
  • Build and develop relationships with cross-functional business partners to align objectives and strategies.
  • Perform duties consistent with the Company's AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as business, statistics, economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of analyst experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of PC applications.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the quality and reliability of information shared.
  • Analytical skills to identify root cause and problem solve a solution.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Working Conditions:
Normal work environment. Some travel may be required.
