BRIEF DESCRIPTION: 
Unloads, inspects, counts, and receives deliveries from suppliers. After confirming that material received in good condition, receiving paperwork is filled out completely and internal labels are applied to material. Completes receiving process in ERP system, attach all documents related to deliver to GRN, and file per work instructions. Move received material to storage bins available to production. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures daily internal controls are followed, performs self-assessment tests as required; develops corrective actions with management team to correct deficiencies
   Act as liaison between Logistics and Production
   Generate all necessary paperwork for daily receipts; signs off on Truckers Bill of Lading (BOL)
   Provide documentation to the accounting department as requested; maintains receiving log (Manuel/Excel)
   Assist plant with physical inventory as needed
   Position will audit shipments for accuracy and verify that load amounts are accurate
   Label material, if not already labeled with barcode, prepares goods for bin location storage
   Records shipment data, including weight, customer freight charges, and space availability (utilization)
   Notes all discrepancies. Reviews of documents & freight for errors, damages, and reports to carrier and supplier
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred but not required
Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
   Able to read and write in English preferred but not required
   Basic math skills with ability to perform basic math calculations, such as, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Plus, knowledge of fractions and decimals
   Ability to read a tape measure accurately
   Ability to compare actual measurements to specifications and determine if finished product is acceptable quality
   Able to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule format
   Ability to work in a team environment, good interpersonal skills
   Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change
   Good hand/eye coordination
   Forklift experience preferred but not required
   Must be willing to learn to drive a forklift

Ability to speak and understand English.
