The Role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations at Fair Park by receiving, storing, organizing, and delivering food, beverage, equipment, and other operational products throughout the venue in a timely and accurate manner. This role supports concessions, portables, commissaries, catering areas, and other event-related locations as assigned.

The Warehouse Associate must be flexible, dependable, safety-focused, and willing to rotate assignments based on event needs. This position plays an important role in ensuring Fair Park operations are properly stocked, clean, organized, and prepared to support a successful guest and team member experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving, checking, organizing, and storing food, beverage, equipment, and other deliveries.
  • Deliver stock and supplies to concessions stands, portables, commissaries, catering areas, bars, kitchens, and other assigned Fair Park locations.
  • Restock stands and service areas with food, beverage, paper goods, smallwares, and other operational products as needed.
  • Inspect assigned locations for product shortages, cleanliness concerns, equipment needs, or other deficiencies and communicate concerns to leadership.
  • Assist with moving equipment, product, and supplies before, during, and after Fair Park events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas, dock areas, storage rooms, walk-ins, and assigned workspaces.
  • Follow proper product rotation, storage, labeling, and food safety procedures.
  • Support event setup, replenishment, breakdown, and post-event recovery as assigned.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment only when properly trained and authorized.
  • Follow all Legends safety expectations, including safe lifting practices, proper housekeeping, spill cleanup, equipment safety, and use of required personal protective equipment. Legends' Injury and Illness Prevention Program emphasizes that employees are responsible for safe work practices, following safety directives, reporting unsafe conditions, and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, product issues, or workplace injuries immediately to a supervisor, manager, Human Resources, or Risk Management.
  • Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and operational support duties as needed.
  • Complete all required company-wide safety training and any job-specific training required for the role.

  • Ability to promote and participate in a team-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal directions and communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Ability to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and event days.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and move for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and prepared to report to work as scheduled. Legends' handbook notes that attendance and punctuality are important because unnecessary absences and lateness are disruptive and place an unfair burden on fellow employees and supervisors.
  • Must follow company policies, workplace conduct standards, safety expectations, and operational procedures.
Preferred Skills

  • Organization
  • Attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency
