Job description

TMG is looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players interested in a career rather than just a job. With a team of over 1,500 nationwide associates, TMG is seeking an individual who can uniquely contribute to our 30+ years of success in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Track all assets received into the Data Center {receive, review, receipt, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver, transport, etc.}
  • Deliver, pickup, and transport assets and material within, between, to and from various locations {docks, offices, buildings, sites, etc.}
  • Use hand held scanner to control inbound and outbound accountable items.- Place purchase orders using Oracle or an equivalent purchasing Program.
  • Analyze & review purchase order data using Oracle or an equivalent Receiving Program.
  • Receive items with Purchase Orders in Oracle/Receiving Program.
  • Insure items received in Oracle are error and defect free.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and other departments and vendors the receiving of desktop and server equipment including computer hardware, servers, peripherals, software and printers.
  • Ensure data that entry into internal databases is done accurately and within established time frames.- Coordinate with Asset Management and IT, the disposal and recycling of retired desktop computer equipment.
  • Prepare material for processing, shipment and/or transportation.
  • Enter activity data in logs and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform a monthly inventory on all consumables
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Handle work order service requests into applicable format.
  • Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment
  • Communicate to customers when items should arrive at locations.
  • Prepare, daily, weekly and monthly reports as required

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years warehouse, shipping & receiving related experience.
  • Experience with inventory control in a warehouse/ data center environment
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills -
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience utilizing Oracle.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office Software ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint )
  • Be familiar with IT environment terminology (i.e.HP and dell hardware, patch cords, power cords)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual or within a team environment.
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
  • Skilled at operating mobile equipment such as pallet jack and server lift
