Job Summary
The Assistant Receiving Manager supports receiving operations by assisting with the processing of incoming shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with company procedures. This role helps ensure efficient daily operations and supports inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily receiving operations to ensure accurate processing of incoming shipments
  • Assist in verifying deliveries for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation
  • Maintain receiving records and support inventory accuracy
  • Help identify and report discrepancies such as damages or shortages
  • Provide support and guidance to receiving staff during daily operations
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow coordination for receiving activities
  • Ensure receiving areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Communicate operational issues or concerns to management
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory operations
