ABOUT THE POSITION
The Shipping and Receiving Associate ensures the smooth flow of inventory in and out of the store. This role maintains organization, accuracy, and operational efficiency in all back-of-house processes to support the sales floor and online business.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring merchandise arrives accurately and in excellent condition.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, online orders, and transfers between store locations with care and attention to detail.
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and clean back-of-house inventory space that supports daily operations.
  • Replenish merchandise to the sales floor to ensure a beautiful and fully stocked shopping experience.
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Build positive relationships with vendors and shipping partners while helping resolve damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
  • Maintain shipping records, documentation, and operational processes.
  • Safely lift, move, and organize merchandise while following company safety guidelines.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and contribute to the overall success of the store.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Previous retail, stockroom, warehouse, or inventory experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • A proactive, dependable approach and willingness to take ownership.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a close-knit team.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and being active throughout the day.
