A receiving associate most commonly works in a retail or warehouse environment. As a receiving associate, your job duties include handling packages that arrive at the facility, reviewing the contents for accuracy, and ensuring the product is delivered to the correct department. Receiving and Unloading Merchandise
Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
Handle and Move Merchandise Safely
Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
Stocking and Customer Support
Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
Overstock Organization
Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
