Job Description
Day Shift Verifier Needed!
Full-time, day shift, must be able to work on Sundays.
This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a department. An individual in this department will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary. Candidate is responsible to inspect and process freight in a safe and correct manner, detail oriented, and good with reading numbers. Load, unload, fills orders, packs, processes, and verifies freight in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- - Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates)
- - Maintain quality and accuracy of inventory by inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and conditions, and moving freight manually or with powered equipment.
- - Ensure LOS goals are met for unloading trailers by monitoring unloaders and arrival times.
- - Inform management about unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures in the facility.
- - Use freight handling equipment in a safe and correct manner.
- - Enter and locate information on a computer or system communication device.
Qualifications
- Prior warehousing experience*
- Detail oriented and good with reading numbers
- Able to use adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to correctly verify incoming freight
- Available to work Sundays
