Day Shift Monday - Friday 6am - 4:30pm + Additional OT on Saturdays
Shipping and receiving associate manages the flow of materials, finished goods, and supplies in a factory. Core duties include unloading deliveries, verifying shipment accuracy, preparing orders for dispatch, and tracking inventory via Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems while operating warehouse machinery like forklifts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving: Unload incoming freight, match packing slips against purchase orders, inspect for damage, and log all items into the company's inventory management system.
  • Material Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to transport raw materials to the production floor and stage finished goods.
  • Shipping: Prepare finished goods for dispatch by packaging, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling items correctly. Generate shipping documents such as Bills of Lading
  • Inventory Control: Maintain organized storage areas, conduct cycle counts, and report stock discrepancies or shortages to the production or procurement teams.
