Job Overview:

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory control in store receiving area, works with delivery personnel, and counts and checks in merchandise.

Reports to:

Store Manager 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Records incoming deliveries in system by Purchase Order using RF device
  • Load Receiving and Reconciliation of Invoice
  • Breakage adjustments and supporting documents to corporate
  • Cycle counting 
  • Negative inventory review and submittal
  • Processing of Transfers Incoming / Outgoing

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years inventory experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent at problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail orientated
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and work well while meeting deadlines
  • Software experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft applications, intermediate excel skills preferred.
  • Attention to detail and follow through on all action items
  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
