Description:

At Butternut Mountain Farm, a second-generation, Vermont family-owned company, we proudly package and ship pure maple syrup year-round — not just during sugaring season. As one of the largest packers of pure maple syrup in the U.S., we’re looking for a dependable, dedicated Bulk Receiving Associate to join our receiving team in Morrisville, Vermont.

Requirements:

As Bulk Receiving Associate Primary responsibilities include:

· Unloading, loading, organizing, labeling containers, stacking

· Ability to weigh containers via scale system

· Computer use for receipt entry

· Forklift Experience (2+ years)

· Monitor receiving dates on the In Coming Syrup Report and verify syrup is received on time.

· Communicate with Bulk Syrup Scheduler and Sample Entry to ensure syrup gets processed on time.

· Notify key people with issues pertaining to quality and traceability.

· Propose and initiate as needed improvements to material movement activities. This requires collaboration with department managers and other departments.

· Complete receiving entries in computer system and distribute paperwork to appropriate department(s).

· Ensure receiving area is clean and organized.

· Utilize material handling equipment to load and unload trucks as needed.

· Maintain files, respond to emails, update spreadsheets, and answer questions in a timely fashion.


To perform this position as Bulk Receiving Associate:

• Minimum of 2 years of receiving experience.

• Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems in a production/warehouse environment required.

• Able to operate all types of material handling equipment.

• Proven problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

• Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Window Applications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and establish short and long-term plans to complete duties.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Excellent reading, writing, and math skills required.

• Effectively communicate with all levels of management.

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills


Hours for Bulk Receiving Associate:

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
