Job description

Real Estate Investment Associate

Commercial Real Estate Investment Firm | Farmington Hills, MI

Fully Remote (Experienced) / Hybrid (Entry-Level: 1 day/week in-office)

1099 Commission-Based | M–F, 8am–5pm

About the Role

Our client is a commercial real estate investment firm specializing in net lease and investment sales. They're looking for a driven, competitive Real Estate Investment Associate to join their team and build a career in CRE investment sales — no net lease experience required, just the work ethic to grind it out and the intelligence to close.

This is a full sales-cycle role: you'll prospect, nurture, and close deals with support from an in-house marketing team, paired partners, and a steady flow of company-provided leads.

Compensation
  • 1099 independent contractor role
  • $3,000/month draw while you build your pipeline
  • Commission splits starting at 50%, increasing over time
  • Average first-year associate earns ~$100K — and it scales up significantly from there as you grow your book
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle: cold calling, prospect nurturing, and assisting in closing
  • Maintain and grow a large database of clients and prospects
  • Hit or exceed assigned quotas
  • Cold call volume target: 250–300 calls per week
  • Leverage company-provided leads while also building your own database
  • Partner closely with senior team members (paired with partners at no cost against your split)
  • Marketing support is handled in-house — you focus on selling, not collateral
Must-Haves
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent real estate industry experience
  • Recent grads welcome, or candidates with some sales experience (net lease experience not required)
  • 1+ years of sales experience preferred but not required
  • Confident and comfortable with cold calling as a daily discipline
  • Competitive, go-getter personality with strong professional work ethic and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Sharp — this is a hard business to make money in, and you need to be smart to succeed
  • Willingness to run 250–300 cold calls per week and live on a draw until your first close
Nice-to-Haves
  • Existing book of business or transferable investor relationships
  • 1031 exchange familiarity
  • Sale-leaseback or industrial experience (operator side)
  • General CRE investment sales background
US CANDIDATES ONLY

Please Note: This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. We are not able to consider C2C arrangements or third-party submissions.
