We're hiring a Real Estate Lease Specialist at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO, and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. This position is fully hybrid.
EquipmentShare is seeking a Real Estate Lease Specialist to support our growing real estate portfolio. This full-time role will report to the Real Estate Portfolio Manager and will be responsible for managing lease administration, ensuring compliance with lease terms, and supporting real estate transactions across EquipmentShare's national footprint. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate lease records, supporting site expansion, and optimizing lease performance.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain lease agreements, amendments, renewals, and related documentation
  • Track critical lease dates including expirations, renewal options, rent escalations, and notice periods
  • Ensure compliance with lease terms and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet obligations
  • Prepare lease abstracts and maintain accurate records within lease management systems
  • Support lease negotiations by gathering data, preparing documentation, and coordinating communication
  • Assist with real estate transactions including new site acquisitions, relocations, and closures
  • Review and process rent payments, invoices, and reconciliation of landlord charges
  • Collaborate with accounting, legal, and operations teams to ensure alignment on lease-related matters
  • Maintain organized digital and physical lease files and documentation
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and lease optimization
