Description
REAL ESTATE OPERATIONS MANAGER
The Rodocker Group | John L. Scott Real Estate
Temporary-to-Permanent Opportunity | Full-Time | Hybrid
A Career Opportunity for Someone Who Likes to Make Things Happen
Some people are great at checking boxes. We're looking for someone who sees what needs to be done-and makes it happen.
The Rodocker Group is looking for a highly organized, proactive, creative, and solutions-driven Real Estate Operations Manager to join our team.
This is a unique opportunity to step into the operations of a high-performing, established real estate business and become an integral part of how the team operates.
The role will begin as a temporary position with the potential to transition into a full-time, long-term opportunity. You'll work alongside our team and support our current Operations Manager during her absence, learning our systems, processes, clients, and business from the inside out.
And this is not your typical administrative job.
You'll have your hands in nearly every part of the business-from preparing a home to hit the market and coordinating vendors, to creating marketing campaigns, managing client touchpoints, supporting transactions, and making sure the team has what they need to succeed.
You'll be the person behind the scenes making sure everything runs.
If you're energized by variety, enjoy solving problems, notice the details others miss, and take pride in creating an exceptional experience for both clients and your team, this could be the role for you.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT?
You won't be sitting behind a desk doing the same thing every day.
One day you may be coordinating a listing launch and meeting a photographer at a property. The next, you could be creating marketing materials, organizing a client event, preparing a buyer presentation, coordinating vendors, or troubleshooting an unexpected issue.
You'll have the opportunity to use your:
Organization. Creativity. Communication. Problem-Solving. Initiative.
Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact.
ABOUT THE RODOCKER GROUP
For nearly four decades, The Rodocker Group has built a reputation as a trusted name in real estate throughout the Greater Seattle area.
As an award-winning John L. Scott team, we're known for combining exceptional client service, innovative marketing, deep industry knowledge, and a commitment to doing things differently.
We don't believe in simply putting a sign in the yard and hoping for the best.
We believe in creating an experience.
From the first conversation with a client through closing-and long after the keys are handed over-our team is committed to delivering a level of service that clients remember and refer to their friends and family.
That starts with the people behind the scenes who make it all possible.
WHAT YOU'LL GET
A Role With Variety
No two days are exactly alike. You'll work across operations, marketing, listings, client service, and business development.
Real Responsibility
You won't be treated like "just an assistant." You'll have ownership over important parts of the business and the opportunity to make decisions, solve problems, and improve systems.
Hands-On Training
You'll receive comprehensive one-on-one training, mentorship, and a structured transition period designed to set you up for success.
A High-Performing Team
Work alongside an established, award-winning real estate team and gain firsthand experience in what it takes to operate a successful real estate business.
Room to Grow
This position is designed with long-term potential. As you learn the business and demonstrate your strengths, there is an opportunity to grow with the team and take on additional responsibility.
A Hybrid Work Environment
Your week will include a combination of office, remote, and on-site field work, giving you flexibility while keeping you connected to the team and clients.
A Team That Values Ideas
Have a better way to do something? We want to hear it. We're looking for someone who doesn't just follow systems-but looks for ways to improve them.
YOUR FIRST CHAPTER STARTS HERE
Training is scheduled to begin in December 2026 with a comprehensive transition and one-on-one mentorship.
You'll have the opportunity to learn directly from our team, understand our systems and processes, build relationships with clients and vendors, and gradually take ownership of the role.
Our goal isn't to simply throw you into the position.
Our goal is to set you up to own it.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who is:
  • Proactive - You see what needs to happen and take action.
  • Organized - You can keep track of dozens of moving pieces without losing sight of the details.
  • Resourceful - When something goes wrong, your first thought is, "How do we fix it?"
  • Creative - You enjoy marketing, presentation, and finding new ways to make an impact.
  • People-oriented - You genuinely enjoy helping clients and building relationships.
  • Adaptable - You can switch gears quickly when priorities change.
  • Accountable - You take ownership of your work and follow through.
  • Growth-minded - You're excited to learn, improve, and take on more responsibility.

You don't need to know everything on day one.
We can teach systems. We can teach processes. We can teach the real estate business.
What we can't teach is initiative, work ethic, curiosity, and the desire to do great work.
READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT?
If you're looking for more than a traditional administrative position-and want a role where you can build skills, take ownership, work alongside a high-performing team, and grow into something bigger-we'd love to hear from you.
Come help us create an exceptional real estate experience-from behind the scenes to the closing table.
Apply Today. We'd Love to Meet You.
