We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney (Leasing) to join our established legal team. This role will be a cornerstone of our commercial real estate operations, providing expert legal counsel on a broad range of property types including retail, office, industrial, restaurant, healthcare, and specialty use leases. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of our national leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing operations. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on high‑profile real estate transactions and to influence the strategic direction of our commercial leasing business.

Responsibilities
  1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial leases, including retail, office, industrial, restaurant, healthcare, and specialty use leases, ensuring they comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  2. Oversee and manage all stages of national leasing operations, from initial negotiations through to final lease execution.
  3. Provide expert legal counsel on all aspects of commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including conducting due diligence, drafting and reviewing contracts, and overseeing closing processes.
  4. Advise on financing strategies and structures for commercial real estate transactions, including negotiating and drafting loan agreements.
  5. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that all real‑estate transactions align with our strategic objectives and risk appetite.
  6. Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to commercial real estate and provide proactive advice and guidance to the business on potential impacts.
  7. Represent the company in any legal disputes or litigation related to our commercial real estate operations.
Qualifications
  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney, with a focus on leasing.
  3. Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating retail, office, industrial, restaurant, healthcare, and specialty use leases.
  4. Proven track record in managing national leasing operations, and overseeing acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate.
  5. Strong knowledge of financing strategies and structures for commercial real estate transactions.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and strategic legal advice on complex real estate transactions.
  7. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in the state.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
