Job description

Our client, an established law firm located in downtown Chicago, is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to join its Commercial Real Estate Group. This opportunity is well suited for an associate who enjoys handling sophisticated transactions, working directly with clients, and taking ownership of deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle complex commercial real estate purchase, sale, and leasing transactions
  • Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, and related agreements
  • Work directly with business owners, investors, developers, and executive teams
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously with a high level of autonomy
  • Coordinate with internal teams and outside advisors to efficiently close deals
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of commercial real estate experience
  • Experience with real estate financing is a plus
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-facing skills
  • Active Illinois Bar admission
