Interns typically assist with market research, financial analysis, project management, and property evaluation. This role allows individuals to learn about the development process, such as site selection, permitting, construction, and marketing. Interns work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights and networking opportunities that can help them start a career in real estate development.

What types of projects and tasks can I expect to work on during a real estate development internship?

As a Real Estate Development Intern, you'll typically assist with market research, financial analysis, site visits, and preparing presentations for potential developments. You may also help coordinate meetings, review zoning and permitting requirements, and support the due diligence process. Interns often work closely with development managers and analysts, gaining hands-on exposure to the different phases of a real estate project and collaborating with various teams, such as acquisitions, design, and construction. This provides a comprehensive understanding of the development cycle and valuable networking opportunities within the industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a real estate development intern, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Real Estate Development Intern, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a background in business, finance, or urban planning, often supported by relevant coursework or internships. Job description

Summary
Limbird Real Estate Group, the premier real estate team in Arkansas, is expanding and seeking a dedicated full-time Real Estate Agent eager to build a successful and sustainable career. Join our team to cultivate a robust client base, access a consistent flow of leads, and enjoy a lucrative earning potential.
This role goes beyond simply holding a license and hoping for results. You'll benefit from daily coaching, access to specialized in-house marketing support, and become part of a collaborative team culture that promotes accountability within a positive and encouraging atmosphere. With Northwest Arkansas undergoing rapid growth, our agents are perfectly positioned to capitalize on this dynamic market. If you're driven, open to guidance, and ready to put in the effort, you have the opportunity to earn $80K-$100K+ in commissions.
Responsibilities
  • Generate and manage leads consistently. Your pipeline doesn't fill itself. You'll prospect daily, follow up with leads in our CRM, and convert conversations into appointments. This is the engine of your business - everything else depends on it.
  • Conduct buyer consultations and secure signed agreements. You'll meet with buyers, understand what they actually need, and walk them through the process confidently. Getting a signed buyer agreement early protects your time and sets clear expectations for the client.
  • Negotiate purchase and sale contracts. Whether you're representing a buyer or a seller, you'll negotiate terms that get deals across the finish line. Strong negotiation skills directly impact your clients' outcomes - and your reputation.
  • Manage transactions from contract to close. Once a deal is under contract, you stay on top of timelines, communication, and paperwork. Smooth closings lead to referrals, and referrals are the lifeblood of a long-term real estate career.
  • Host open houses and market listings. You'll run open houses that actually attract buyers - not just sit at a folding table. This is also one of the best lead generation tools available, and our marketing team supports you in making a strong impression.
  • Participate in team training and weekly coaching. We invest in your development through 1:1 coaching sessions, partner calls, and ongoing training. Agents who show up to these consistently outperform those who don't - it's that simple.
  • Use PLACE technology to stay organized and track activity. You'll use our platform to manage tasks, client interactions, and follow-ups. Staying organized isn't just an admin task - it's what separates agents who scale from those who stay stuck.
Qualifications
  • Active Arkansas real estate license (or currently enrolled in coursework to obtain one)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate sales or a high-performance sales role
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads and manage a pipeline from prospecting through close
  • Strong verbal communication skills - you need to be able to hold a real conversation, handle objections, and build trust quickly
  • Comfortable learning and using scripts and sales dialogues as a foundation (not a crutch)
  • Proficient or willing to learn CRM and transaction management platforms
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
  • Full-time availability - all Limbird agents are committed professionals, not part-timers
About-our-team
Limbird Real Estate Group is locally owned, Northwest Arkansas-based, and ranked #1 in the state. We're not a franchise and we're not a big-box brokerage - we're a team of serious, full-time agents who chose to be here because the support structure is real.
We're powered by PLACE, a technology and business services platform that handles a lot of the behind-the-scenes work so our agents can focus on clients and production. That means in-house marketing and design, daily live training, and technology that eliminates up to 75% of routine daily tasks.
Our culture is built on accountability, growth, and doing right by clients. We coach hard, celebrate wins, and don't tolerate coasting - because every agent on this team made a commitment to their clients and to each other. If you want a team that invests in you and expects the same in return, this is the right place.
