Job description

We are currently seeking a 5th to 8th year associate to support our Nashville Office's Real Estate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will possess solid and recent real estate transactional experience, including purchase and sale agreements, lease drafting and review, title and survey review and running a real estate transaction from LOI to close. Qualified candidates will have experience drafting PSAs, leases, title objection letters, closing documents, and will have requisite experience reviewing title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys to oversee paralegal title and survey review. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Tennessee and should also have strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
Lawyers in our firm's Real Estate Practice Group represent lenders, national and regional banks, opportunity funds and borrowers in connection with real estate financings, construction loans, equity investments, syndicated investments, portfolio and syndicated credit facilities, tax credit transactions and municipal finance.

The firm also represents both purchasers and sellers in connection with real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and both landlord and tenants in connection with commercial leases.
