Job description

The University of New Mexico (UNM) Real Estate Department is seeking an enthusiastic and positive individual to join our team as a Real Estate Associate. This role will be located at the Property Management Office at UNM's Science and Technology Park (STP@UNM) on South Campus.

STP@UNM aims to link real estate opportunities with university and private industry research needs to foster economic development and stimulate research. The STP@UNM hosts a diverse range of tenants, including research and development, education, manufacturing, bioresearch, and healthcare entities.

The Real Estate Associate plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of approximately 350,000 square feet of office, laboratory, educational, and research space across multiple buildings. This includes engaging with tenants, vendors, contractors, and university personnel to assess, coordinate, and ensure the completion of the maintenance and repairs of the facilities and grounds overseen by the Property Management Office.

We are seeking an individual with outstanding customer service, a keen eye for details, a desire and ability to learn and to build positive working relationships. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently are also highly desirable.
