A highly respected, well-established law firm with a strong reputation is seeking an experienced Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join its growing practice. Built on the principle of delivering premier, high-caliber legal services within a collaborative, responsive, and entrepreneurial environment, the firm provides sophisticated legal counsel to commercial real estate developers, investors, owners, and property managers.
The firm's practice encompasses a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including ground-up development, value-add acquisitions, complex financing transactions, and leasing across retail, office, industrial, multifamily, build-to-rent, and mixed-use asset classes.
Position Overview:
The Real Estate Transactional Attorney will lead complex, high-value commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing. Working alongside a collaborative team of experienced attorneys, the successful candidate will have significant experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, debt and equity financing, and leasing matters while serving as a trusted advisor to regional and national clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, joint venture agreements, financing documents, and other transactional contracts.
- Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, ground-up development, construction financing, title and survey matters, and land use considerations across a variety of commercial asset classes.
- Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence, analyze title and survey issues, identify transaction risks, and provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
- Manage complex commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing while collaborating with clients, lenders, developers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing.
- Several years of substantive experience handling commercial real estate transactions in a reputable law firm environment.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple transactions while working collaboratively within a team.
Salary & Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position ranges from $200,000โ$250,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
