Leading International Law Firm | Real Estate


An excellent opportunity for a mid-to-senior level Real Estate Associate to join a highly regarded international firm in Philadelphia.

The team handles sophisticated transactional real estate matters for a broad client base, with exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing and leasing.


The Role

  • Advising on complex commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
  • Representing developers, investors, lenders and other stakeholders on real estate development projects
  • Advising on real estate financing and related transactional matters
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and associated documentation
  • Exposure to land use and zoning matters
  • Managing discrete matters and taking ownership of workstreams on larger transactions
  • Working directly with clients, opposing counsel and other transaction stakeholders
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's broader corporate, finance and real estate practices


Candidate Profile

  • 2+ years' experience in transactional real estate
  • Strong experience in one or more of acquisitions/dispositions, development, financing or commercial leasing
  • Experience at a leading law firm preferred, although strong candidates from boutique or mid-sized real estate practices will also be considered
  • Strong drafting, research and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing matters independently and taking ownership of transaction workstreams
  • Commercially minded, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong academic and professional credentials
