Real Estate Assistant โ€“ Job Description


Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Real Estate Assistant to support a fast-paced real estate team. This position requires a professional who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with clients and vendors, maintain attention to detail, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and successful real estate transactions.

This is a full-time salaried position with weekly bonus potential based on performance and team goals.

Work Schedule & Availability:

  • Required office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • This position requires flexibility, including some evening work (by appointment) and participation in a rotating weekend schedule to assist with client needs, real estate deadlines, showings and other business demands.
  • Due to the nature of the real estate industry, reliability, punctuality, and consistent availability during scheduled work hours are essential functions of this position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, attorneys, inspectors, and vendors.
  • Assist with the coordination and management of real estate transactions from contract to closing.
  • Prepare, review, and organize contracts, disclosures, and transaction files.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with brokerage and licensing requirements.
  • Schedule appointments, inspections, showings, closings, and meetings.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and follow-up tasks to ensure no critical dates are missed.
  • Assist with listing preparation, MLS input, marketing materials, social media, and property advertising.
  • Coordinate photography, signage, lockboxes, and other listing-related tasks.
  • Perform general office and administrative duties as needed.
  • Run occasional errands and assist with additional responsibilities necessary to support the real estate team.

Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Real Estate License required, or ability to obtain and maintain a license as a condition of employment. We will assist the right person with obtaining their license. Will be required to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driverโ€™s license required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with computers, email, and common office software; experience with real estate software is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, maintain confidentiality, and solve problems proactively.
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
