Job description

Commercial Real Estate Attorney

Atlanta, GA


Our client is looking for an attorney to join the firm to support a variety of complex real estate matters. From development and leasing to acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and finance. They have remained focused on providing legal counsel covering all facets of commercial real estate.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, and other relevant transaction documents as well as leases, lease amendments and other leasing and asset management-related documents

  • Advise clients on a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development transactions as well as complex office, industrial, retail and mixed-use leasing matters throughout the United States

  • Assist with real estate joint venture structures

  • Work collaboratively with attorneys throughout the firm on real estate matters

  • Serve client through the full life-cycle of real estate transactions

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant commercial real estate legal experience

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Admission to the bar in Georgia in good standing

  • Experience working with sophisticated real estate developers, investors and owners on complex transactions, such as portfolio acquisitions, vertical development, assemblages, and funds

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage complex transactions in a collaborative team environment

  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive work ethic
