Job description

The Asset Manager for Commercial Properties is responsible for the comprehensive oversight and performance of a portfolio of client-owned assets. This role ensures the achievement of financial objectives, including Net Operating Income (NOI) targets, by managing operational budgets, monitoring revenue stream, and proactively identifying opportunities to maximize asset value. The Asset Manager acts as the primary liaison between property owners, tenant and vendors, ensuring exceptional customer service and tenant satisfaction.

  • Bachelors Degree in related field required; Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years successful experience as a business-to-business account manager where building and maintain strong relationship is key
  • Minimum 3 years successful commercial property management or project management experience
  • A Real Estate License is preferred at the time of hire; however, candidates who do not possess one will be required to obtain one.
  • Coursework, certifications and/or license in real estate is preferred (CSM, CPM, RPA)
  • Strong knowledge of operational budgeting, CAM reconciliations, rent collection process, and capital planning.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to oversee legal matters, insurance claims and negotiate contracts.

Must possess both a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to The Lund Company’s excess liability insurance carrier.
