Job description

[solidcore] is seeking a Senior Manager of Real Estate - West to support the studio development team's objective of growth across the United States. This role will report to the Senior Director of Real Estate & Growth and work on the annual NSO (New Studio Opening) portfolio as well as various projects and initiatives to support the existing fleet of over 180 locations and future new ventures. This is a remote position, and candidates should ideally be located in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones. This role should expect to travel 10-35% of the time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and own the real estate pipeline for assigned territories

  • Perform site research and analysis for all real estate sourced and/or accepted into pipeline

  • Manage and own the pipeline resource with critical information and documentation; move sites through real estate diligence

  • Coordinate and assemble Real Estate Committee deliverables for executive team and cross functional partners

  • Ownership of LOI negotiations

  • Collaboration with legal team on lease negotiations

  • Managing all broker relationships for assigned territories

  • Managing landlord relationships through due diligence and permitting alongside the development team

  • Managing national institutional relationships; ensure solidcore is always the first call for all relevant real estate

  • Develop partnerships with other HQ functions including Legal, Operations, FP&A, and Marketing teams

  • Perform special projects in support of macro business functions as requested

  • Evangelist and steward of the solidcore brand in all professional settings

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Law, GIS, or related field of study applicable to role required

  • Minimum 3-5 years of multi-market deal making/leasing experience in the Western US, directly or indirectly with retailers, required; class A/urban street retail asset experience preferred

  • People management and team lead experience required

  • Ability to read, write and interpret legal documents

  • Proactive nature in identifying opportunities and solutions, with a bias to owning outcomes and continuously developing in a company obsessed with feedback culture

  • Strong capability in balancing priorities against numerous deadlines

  • Strength in analyzing large amounts of data and distilling into digestible and actionable recommendations for various stakeholders

  • Understands business performance and can action upon working with resources to create new insights for real estate and company strategies

  • Passionate about solidcore, retail brands and/or retail real estate
