Job description

Every day, we serve hundreds of thousands of meals to students and seniors across California and Nevada, helping make nutritious food more accessible to the communities that need it most.
 

We're seeking a passionate and strategic Senior Manager, Nutrition to help drive nutrition excellence, regulatory compliance, and ingredient strategy across Revolution Foods' menu portfolio. This is an opportunity for a Registered Dietitian to make a meaningful impact at scale, helping ensure hundreds of thousands of children and families have access to nutritious, high-quality meals every day.

As a key nutrition leader and subject matter expert, you will partner closely with Culinary, Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to deliver menu solutions that are nutritious, compliant, operationally effective, and financially sustainable.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Commerce, California headquarters. Due to the highly collaborative nature of the role, regular in-person partnership with cross-functional teams is essential. Remote work arrangements are not available.

What You'll Do
  • Ensure compliance with USDA National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), CACFP, and applicable state and federal nutrition regulations.
  • Serve as a key partner during administrative reviews, audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain audit-ready nutrition, ingredient, and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee nutrition analyses, allergen management, ingredient statements, and regulatory disclosures.
  • Partner with Culinary, Procurement, Operations, and Menu teams to evaluate ingredients, specifications, and product opportunities.
  • Support ingredient innovation and sourcing decisions that align nutrition, quality, and operational goals.
  • Lead Buy American compliance efforts and ingredient documentation management.
  • Support commodity utilization strategies that maximize value while maintaining nutritional integrity.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to evaluate recipe costs, ingredient optimization opportunities, and cost-per-meal targets.
  • Analyze ingredient and menu performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Balance nutrition goals with operational and financial objectives to support sustainable growth.
  • Develop and enhance nutrition compliance processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, consistency, and regulatory readiness.
  • Leverage data and insights to strengthen decision-making and program performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Help build the future nutrition capability of the organization.
What You'll Bring
 
Required Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
  • Demonstrated experience within K–12 school nutrition programs is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Public Health, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in nutrition, regulatory compliance, school nutrition, food service, or related environments.
  • Strong knowledge of USDA Child Nutrition Programs and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Culinary, Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience supporting large-scale food manufacturing, food service, or multi-site food operations.
  • Experience managing audits, administrative reviews, and regulatory inspections.
  • Experience with menu analysis, ingredient strategy, and commodity programs.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
