A Ready Mixer Driver operates a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mixed concrete to construction sites. Their responsibilities include safely transporting the concrete, ensuring it is mixed properly during transit, and unloading it at the site according to job specifications. Good communication with dispatchers and customers is essential, as is the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a ready mixer driver?

To thrive as a Ready Mixer Driver, you typically need a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), a good driving record, and knowledge of concrete mixing and delivery procedures.
