Job duties:

  • Tire repair and/or tire replacement, jump start refrigerated trailers, trailer door seals, trailer dolly legs, trailer door and hardware, wheel seals, air brake systems repairs, patch holes in trailer roof, side panels, and floor, repair electrical and lighting problems, weld/repair mud flap brackets
  • Communicate effectively with Manager and Dispatch to coordinate repairs and meet customer requirements
  • Complete work orders, document parts used, and labor hours for repairs completed
  • Responsibly drive service truck from shop to service site and return to the shop
  • Ensure the service truck is fueled and complete proper maintenance to assure service truck remains operational
  • Guarantee service truck parts are inventoried and restock parts as needed - this includes taking along parts that may be needed to complete repairs on site
