Job description

Hawthorn Topgolf Swing Suites Odessa is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable food and beverage dynamo with senior level experience in the F&B industry to be an integral part of our team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure Guest satisfaction! Create a positive and upbeat atmosphere of engagement for our guests and associates!
• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Food & Beverage Inventory, Ordering and Receiving accountability (includes liquor, beer, wine and food).
• Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
• Prepare weekly schedules for bartender, barback and server staff to adequately cover all shifts. Provide for coverage in case of employee absence and adjust staffing as necessary to meet business demands.
• Oversee the preparation of beverages and ensure quality of product served
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Ensure readiness for internal and external audits such as: Alcohol Awareness, Food Safety / Sanitation, Health Inspection, Safety Training/Certification, etc...
• Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
• Opening and closing tasks such as checklist completion, cash handling and deposits.
Job Requirements:
• 3+ years of restaurant management experience
• Experience managing FOH and BOH teams, including Bar/Beverage program oversight and knowledge
• Legally able to serve alcohol
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Ability to work independently, as well as lead, manage, and motivate a team
• Dependable and reliable
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and stay cool under pressure
• Extensive working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Knowledge of local and state regulations related to alcohol service and health code compliance
• Competency in resource management and inventory control
• Customer service orientation
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, personnel management and marketing
