We are looking for a Web Developer to support digital content growth and search visibility for a healthcare-focused organization in Salt Lake City, Utah. This Long-term Contract position blends web content development, search optimization, and site performance improvement to help reach patients, families, and referral sources. The role will work across website pages, blog content, and technical site health while partnering closely with marketing and web teams to strengthen online engagement and organic traffic.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine website and blog content that supports search performance and speaks clearly to patients, families, and referral partners.
• Research relevant search terms and market opportunities within skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and post-acute care to guide content priorities.
• Build and update web pages in WordPress, ensuring content is organized for usability, readability, and search intent.
• Review existing site content and refresh underperforming pages with improved targeting, metadata, headings, and internal linking.
• Identify technical search issues affecting visibility, including crawl problems, indexing concerns, broken links, redirects, and duplicate pages.
• Collaborate with developers, marketing partners, and related teams to implement site enhancements and maintain brand and compliance standards.
• Monitor organic traffic, keyword movement, and engagement trends, then summarize findings in recurring performance reports.
• Contribute recommendations for content planning, keyword direction, and broader digital marketing initiatives based on analytics and competitive insights.• 3+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, digital marketing, or a closely related web-focused role.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create effective web and blog copy for diverse audiences.
• Working knowledge of on-page optimization, technical SEO fundamentals, and content strategy best practices.
• Experience using tools such as BrightEdge, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog to evaluate and improve search performance.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS, HTML, and website content updates.
• Ability to interpret performance data and turn findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams for communication, reporting, and collaboration.
