Responsibilities

Technica Corporation is seeking a .NET & REACT Full Stack Developer.ย  ย As a .NET/React Full Stack Developer, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of web applications and services. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework and associated technologies, as well as React. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end development will be essential in creating seamless and efficient user experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver robust and scalable applications.ย 

In this role, you will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. You will be expected to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and to adhere to best practices and coding standards. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experienced with ASP.NET framework, Entity Framework, SQL Server and design/ architectural patterns (e.g. APIs with Dependency Injection)ย 
  • Experienced with .NET languages (e.g. C#, ADO.NET, EF)ย ย 
  • Familiarity or experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)ย 
  • Develop and maintain web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js and HTML5/CSS3
  • Design and implement both front-end and back-end components of the application.ย 
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.ย 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.ย 
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.ย 
  • Conduct thorough testing of applications, including unit, integration, and system testing.ย 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.ย 
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers.ย 
  • Use Git/Gitlab for source control

The position would be located at a government facility in Washington, D.C. and require work to be performed onsite. Any hybrid work schedule would require customer approval. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

The annual base salary range for this position is $131,000 - $145,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Technica considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, location, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top-Secret with SCI and CI Poly eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or Equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years experience as software developer.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.ย 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.ย 
  • Knowledge of database design and development, including SQL and NoSQL databases.ย 
  • Knowledge of Object Relational Mappers, such as Entity Framework
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Gitlab.ย 
  • Relevant certifications in .NET development or cloud technologies.ย 
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.ย 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.ย 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
