Programmer 6 - Java/React Developer
1 Year Contract
Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY
OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Tuesdays and
Wednesdays are required onsite days.

Position Description - Java / React Developer (MDOT Project Development
& Maintenance)

This Java/React developer position supports the Michigan Department of
Transportation's (MDOT) Project Development and Maintenance programs.
As a software developer, responsibilities include collaborating with the
project manager, application owner, and resource manager, working on an
agile development team to organize work, develop, test, and deploy code.
This role performs a variety of complex tasks and may be reported
directly to a project lead or manager. Strong communication skills,
teamwork, self-direction, commitment, and quick learning are essential.
In addition to full-stack development, this position works closely with
UI/UX team members to build modern, responsive user interfaces using
React.

Required Experience
- Programming complex systems using current Java and development tools
such as Eclipse/JBoss Developer Studio - 7 Years
- Programming with Java 8 - 4 Years
- Development using the current Spring Framework - 5 Years
- Development with JPA/Hibernate - 5 Years
