KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Java/React Developer for an immediate contract engagement with our client.

Job Description:

We Are Seeking an experienced Java / React Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain complex enterprise applications in an Agile development environment. This role will contribute to full-stack application development while working closely with project leads, application owners, UI/UX professionals, and other development team members to deliver reliable, scalable, and responsive software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, Oracle databases, React.js, and JBoss, along with the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and quickly adapt to new technologies and business requirements.

Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex enterprise software applications using Java and modern development practices.

·         Build and maintain full-stack solutions incorporating Java-based backend services and responsive React.js user interfaces.

·         Translate functional and technical requirements into well-designed, maintainable application components.

·         Collaborate with project leads, application owners, UI/UX professionals, and development team members to plan and prioritize development activities.

·         Participate in Agile development processes, including planning, development, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.

·         Develop Java applications using the Spring Framework and JPA/Hibernate for enterprise application functionality and data persistence.

·         Design and optimize database interactions using Oracle 12C or Oracle 19C.

·         Develop and maintain applications within JBoss Enterprise environments.

·         Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js while collaborating with UI/UX teams on application design and usability.

·         Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and code analysis to identify and resolve application issues.

·         Develop software that supports accessibility requirements, including applicable WCAG 2.1 standards.

·         Participate in application testing and quality assurance activities to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.

·         Support application releases by preparing, testing, and deploying code across appropriate environments.

·         Analyze existing applications and recommend enhancements to improve functionality, performance, maintainability, and user experience.

·         Document application functionality, technical solutions, development activities, and relevant processes.

·         Work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate development progress, technical issues, and proposed solutions.

·         Learn and apply new technologies, tools, and development practices as project and business requirements evolve.

Required Skills

·         7+ years of experience programming complex enterprise systems using Java and associated development tools.

·         4+ years of experience developing applications with Java 8.

·         5+ years of experience with the Spring Framework.

·         5+ years of experience with JPA/Hibernate.

·         5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment.

·         4+ years of experience programming with Oracle 12C or Oracle 19C.

·         4+ years of experience developing responsive user interfaces using React.js.

·         4+ years of experience programming within a JBoss Enterprise environment.

·         Strong understanding of full-stack software development principles.

·         Ability to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise applications.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative development team.

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

·         Experience developing accessible frontend applications with a strong focus on WCAG 2.1 or higher standards.

·         4+ years of experience with JUnit and/or Tiles.

·         4+ years of experience working with reporting tools such as Jasper Reports.

·         Experience collaborating closely with UI/UX teams on responsive application design.

·         Experience supporting enterprise application modernization and enhancement initiatives.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
