JOB TITLE: 3rd Shift Warehouse Stacker

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse

WORK SCHEDULE: 12:00 a.m. (Midnight) to 8:00 a.m.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Stacker is responsible for selecting and unloading cases of paper cups and plastic lids weighing up to 60 lbs. off a conveyor system, stacking and preparing stacked product for transportation by a forklift driver. The Warehouse Stacker will obtain boxes of finished product from production sortation line and stack in orderly manner. The Warehouse Stacker will wrap units before the stacker driver moves the product to stretch wrapper. As part of job responsibilities, Warehouse Stackers may be required to perform or assist on any and all jobs for which they are qualified so as to provide uninterrupted, safe and continuous operations. Warehouse Stacker may also be required to perform other necessary tasks throughout the plant including cleaning, general housekeeping duties, painting, sorting, cup-by-cup, lid-by-lid or tasks of a clerical nature.

All employees must follow all Graphic Packaging International safety procedures and policies including wearing personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, hearing protection and safety goggles.

WORK DEVICES/TOOLS consist of the following: computer, hand wrap, marker, tape dispenser, telephone, brooms/mops.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time with scheduled breaks
  • Must be able lift items weighing up to a maximum of 50-60 pounds on an occasional

basis. Average weight lifted is approximately 35 lbs. The employee may be required to lift these weights overhead

  • Must be able to reach between waist and shoulder height which occurs occasionally throughout the shift basis
  • The employee will lower items weighing up to a maximum of 50-60 pounds on an

occasional basis. Average weight lowered is approximately 35 lbs. The employee may be required to lower these weights overhead

  • Must be able to perform pushing/pulling activities when performing work functions. Pushing activities may require forceful pushing
  • Must be able to bend in a slight forward bend for brief periods of times. This may be performed on a repetitive basis.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Overtime will be required as necessary including weekends. Graphic Packaging International operates on a 24 hour, 7 day/week basis
