Job description

A Reach Truck Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, stacking, and managing warehouse inventory using specialized reach trucks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate reach trucks to move, locate, stack, and retrieve products within the warehouse, including high shelving units, ensuring accurate placement and inventory management.
  • Load and unload materials from pallets, delivery vehicles, or storage areas, optimizing space utilization and workflow.
  • Perform routine pre-inspection and post-inspection maintenance checks on reach truck equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipping, verifying correct items and quantities.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to organize storage areas, improve accessibility, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Participate in inventory counts, audits, and cycle counts, using the reach truck to access stock in high or narrow aisles.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety incidents, or operational issues to management promptly.
  • Must be able to work overtime.
