As a Cardiovascular Sonographer, you will utilize your expertise in ultrasound imaging to perform echocardiograms, providing accurate diagnostic assessments that contribute to the overall treatment and management of cardiovascular conditions. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform echocardiograms using state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic results.
  2. Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to assess patient needs, develop imaging protocols, and determine optimal imaging techniques.
  3. Maintain proficiency in echocardiography techniques, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms, as well as Doppler and color flow imaging.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • California state licensure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in cardiovascular sonography preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
