Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide high-quality, 1:1 behavioral intervention for a student with autism. In this role, you will work directly with the student to implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill-acquisition goals designed by the supervising BCBA.
The ideal candidate is patient, observant, and deeply committed to fostering independence and improving the quality of life for the student they serve.
Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Instruction: Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to the student in a variety of educational settings.
  • Plan Implementation: Execute skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction protocols as outlined in the student's individualized plan.
  • Data Collection: Accurately record real-time data on student progress and behavior using various tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the BCBA and Special Education Case Manager to review progress, adjust strategies, and ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Professionalism: Maintain clear, professional communication with teachers, parents, and clinical staff while upholding strict student confidentiality (HIPAA/FERPA).
  • Safety: Manage challenging behaviors calmly and effectively using approved crisis-intervention techniques.
Required Qualifications
