Job Summary:

The function of the Tim Hortons US Sr. Manager,BusinessDevelopment is to source and conduct due diligence on perspectivenewfranchiseeswith the goal of signing multi-year development agreements.Keyresponsibilities includevetting potential franchisees, managing a large pipelineof prospects,andnegotiatingdevelopmentagreementswithagoal of signinga record number ofnewdevelopmentagreements.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifyand conductthoroughdue diligence on perspective franchisees;managerelationshipsthrough deallifecycle until closing

  • Lead pipeline management,negotiation,and executionofdevelopment agreements withhigh quality franchise partners

  • Actively market thegrowthopportunities to attracttop-tier franchise candidates and drive brand growth

  • Partner cross-functionally withDevelopment,Market Planning,Franchising and Field teams to gather necessary insightsto drivenegotiations

  • Prepareand deliver presentationsto internal stakeholders andexecutive level leadershipon bi-weekly or monthly cadence

  • Collaborate with businessleaders to defineand execute long-termsdevelopmentand expansionstrategyfor theTim Hortons brand

  • Plan and host quarterly Discovery Days to onboardrecently signed franchisees

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degreein business or related field

  • 6-8 yearsof experience in business development, corporate finance, franchising, or a related field

  • Excellentnegotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

  • Stronganalytical and financial modeling skills, withproficiencyin excel
