Job description

Description
RBHA Emergency Services Program and Crisis Triage Centersare recruiting for qualified PRN licensed or license eligible clinicians to provide crisis intervention services for all shifts. All Crisis positions are required work on weekends, holidays, and 24/7 on call rotation. Emergency Services offers an exciting, dynamic work environment providing services to adults, youth, individuals with behavioral health disorders, and persons in need of developmental services.
Duties include preadmission screening evaluation for hospitalization, crisis intervention, triage for nonemergency intakes, information & referral, brief case management, and crisis stabilization.
Services require working in the office and in a variety of community settings.
Must be able to multitask, manage stressful and high-risk work environments, interface with multiple behavioral health partners and first responders, and to work independently with minimal need for direct supervision.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in an approved human services related field and registration as licensed LCSW, LPC, or LCP or Licensed Eligible professional and a valid Virginia driver's license without restrictions, the ability to drive 24/7 in all weather conditions.
Minimum two years' behavioral health experience with seriously mentally ill adult's additional experience with substance use disorders, developmental services, crisis intervention, preadmission screening evaluation, and Profiler electronic health record experience preferred.
Special Requirements
Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Individual must meet requirements as a Certified Prescreening Evaluator
