About the team - Yard Operations 

We conduct hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction - from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.

  • 1-3 years experience at a high-volume customer contact with additional, transactional duties and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining strict ethical standards - both on and off the job
  • Professional office work environment/
  • Receive consignor enquiries and ensure that they provide proper documentation to sell their transportation items in our auctions.
  • Gain and apply knowledge in the processes of our business in order to best support our customers.
  • Ensure that external customers have a positive experience doing business with Ritchie Bros.
  • Ensure that requests from internal customers are acted upon timely and accurately.
  • Resolve issues and track interactions relating to customer requests.
  • Provide information related to upcoming auctions and equipment.
  • Proactively reports areas of customer concerns.
  • Perform other various duties as required from time to time.
  • E-Clerking duties if required and as opportunities become available.
  • Work closely with Territory Managers.
  • Ensure confidentiality while dealing with contracts and consignors.
  • Provide proper documentation to buyers in order for them to register their purchases from an RBA auction
  • Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
