Job description

The Synthetic Turf Field Installer is responsible for performing a variety of physical labor tasks related to the installation of synthetic turf fields under the direction of a Site Superintendent/Foreman. This role involves hands-on work, precision cutting, and attention to detail, and requires regular overnight travel to job sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in field setup upon arrival at the job site

  • Accurately handle and position aluminum stencils for inlaid field markings

  • Operate straight edges and tools used in turf alignment and installation

  • Cut turf materials precisely using scissors and razor knives

  • Install field markings and logos by embedding them into hot glue

  • Inspect turf seams to ensure high-quality bonding and alignment

  • Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the project

  • Support the final job site walk-through to ensure installation quality

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager

  • Overnight travel 75% of the year.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS

  • Follow all company safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor or Human Resources

  • Collaborate with team members to support overall project goals

  • Participate in cross-functional duties and provide support to colleagues when needed

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous experience in construction or field installation is preferred but not required

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate

  • Clean criminal background required

  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to travel frequently
